About Us

 

The INDIAN CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION (ICC) Nigeria is a congregation of believers in Jesus Christ, hailing mainly from the southern part of the Indian sub-continent called Kerala State. 

 

John 15:16 says "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you". This call gave us the vision to start a fellowship in Lagos, Nigeria leading to the birth of INDIAN CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION (ICC) on the 1st of May 2005.

 

We started as a normal Sunday evening fellowship. This later grew to a Praise, Prayer & Worship Session at the Shepherd Hill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, Lagos from 14th August 2005. This congregation was named "INDIAN CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION" on 11th December 2005. There was a divine calling in the formation of this congregation. Like His promise in Mark 16:20 "...The Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs", His amazing grace was evident from the very beginning. In the years that followed, we saw the Power of God transforming people, lost families coming back to Christ, sick being healed and many lives   being changed forever. All glory goes to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

 

ICC is a congregation of believers started with the vision of "FELLOWSHIP, BIBLE STUDY, PRAYER, PRAISE & WORSHIP AND EVANGELISM". In Lagos we have Sunday Services from 11.30 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. with singing, Bible Study, Praise and Worship, Intercessory Prayer, Messages from the word of God, Celebrations, etc. Other than this we have Saturday Bible classes and intercessory prayer sessions on the 1st, 2nd & 4th Saturdays of every month.

We have a dedicated team of Prayer Warriors praying regularly on any prayer requests that are sent to us. Other activities of ICC include prison visits, orphanage / old-age home visits, etc. Moreover by the grace of God we are also supporting many missionary activities in different remote places of India where the gospel has not yet reached.

This congregation is growing from strength to strength in numbers and spirits. We are like one family. Our aim is to grow spiritually and attain a new level. Let our Redeemer Jesus Christ guide us to grow spiritually and attain a different level of spiritually.
